We are in Ormelle, in the heart of the Treviso plain, between the Piave river and the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.

About Us

Vigna Angri is the Casonato family winery, founded in 1976 by Guido and now led by his son Fabio. For three generations we have cultivated our vineyards in Ormelle, in the province of Treviso, following an approach that brings together artisan tradition and modern technology. Our Piave wines: whites, reds, sparkling wines and dessert wines are made from native and international grape varieties, grown with sustainable viticulture practices and integrated pest management. For years we have reduced the use of treatments, monitored the environmental conditions of the vineyard and vinified with respect for the raw material. The result is an authentic wine, a direct expression of this land.

Our wines are born from the land of the Piave.

Vigna Angri labels tell the story of the Treviso area. From classic Piave grape varieties: Raboso, Merlot and Cabernet Franc to Prosecco DOC Treviso sparkling wines, each bottle expresses the character of the eastern Veneto plain and the careful work of an artisan winery.

White Wines

Our white wines express the freshness and elegance of the grape varieties grown on the Piave plain. Floral aromas, lively acidity and great drinkability: wines created to enhance fish, risottos and everyday Veneto cuisine.

Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie DOC, Manzoni Bianco and Sauvignon: three different characters, one territory. Vinified in stainless steel to preserve primary aromas, our whites are the result of careful viticulture and harvesting at the right level of ripeness.

Red Wines

Vigna Angri red wines are the soul of the Piave area. Native grapes such as Raboso and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, alongside Merlot and Cabernet Franc: characterful wines, ideal with meats, aged cheeses and the gastronomic traditions of Treviso.

Bottled young to preserve freshness and immediacy, our reds are a classic companion to the Veneto table. Balanced structure, soft tannins and an authentic bond with the plainland they come from.

Sparkling Wines

Prosecco DOC Treviso sparkling and semi-sparkling, Cuvée Brut and Rosé: our sparkling wines are made from the best Glera and Chardonnay grapes in the area. Fine perlage, fruity aromas and a freshness that makes them perfect from aperitif to dessert.

Prosecco is the pride of our winery and of the Treviso area. We offer it as Extra Dry sparkling wine and as semi-sparkling wine with traditional closure, faithful to the tables of the Piave. The selection is completed by Chardonnay Cuvée Brut and Il Rivale, our low-alcohol sparkling red.

Dessert Wines

Ribrioso and 5.23 are our meditation wines: structured dessert wines made from naturally dried Raboso and Solaris grapes. Balanced sweetness, lively acidity and complex aromas of candied fruit, spices and honey.

Ideal at the end of a meal with blue cheeses, dry pastries and traditional Veneto desserts, Vigna Angri dessert wines represent the most refined side of our production. Unconventional wines, created for those looking for emotion in the glass.
